The program is ideal for (corporate) individuals who wish to develop their training and facilitation skills, including hospitality professionals, corporate trainers, educators, consultants, coaches, and industry experts who want to deliver training at a professional and internationally recognized standard.

The pathway consists of three progressive stages:

  • Step 1: Become a Trainer Learn the foundations of effective training and facilitation.
  • Step 2: Become a TIBA Trainer Demonstrate your competence through a structured accreditation process.
  • Step 3: Stay a TIBA Trainer Maintain your accreditation through continuous professional development and annual renewal.

This intensive 7-day program covers the essential knowledge and skills required to become an effective trainer, including:

  • The role and responsibilities of a professional trainer
  • Training design and delivery

Participants who successfully complete Step 1 receive a Certificate of Attendance – Become a Trainer. This confirms they have completed the training and are prepared to begin gaining practical training experience.

Yes. Once you have completed the Become a Trainer program, you are encouraged to begin delivering training sessions and building practical experience. This experience will help prepare you for the accreditation process in Step 2.

Step 2 is a three-month accreditation process during which participants demonstrate their ability to apply TIBA training standards in real-life situations.

During this period, participants are expected to:

  • Deliver at least four training sessions
  • Build a professional training portfolio
  • Attend bi-weekly online coaching sessions
  • Collect participant and client feedback
  • Complete self-evaluations
  • Submit training documentation
  • Successfully complete the final accreditation assessment

Throughout Step 2, participants receive ongoing support from experienced TIBA instructors, including:
