Your primary mandate is to deliver an unparalleled level of service, anticipating the needs of the Principal and his family to ensure their complete ease and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will be comprehensive, requiring meticulous attention to detail and impeccable standards. This includes the end-to-end management of food and beverage programs, from menu planning and sourcing to formal service and presentation. You will oversee all housekeeping staff and protocols to ensure the residence is maintained in a state of flawless order and elegance. You will be expected to proactively manage schedules, coordinate with other domestic staff and external vendors, and fulfill any special requests with efficiency and poise. Butler (Full-Time) for a Private Household
Key responsibilities:
- Executive & Personal Assistance: Manage the principal's schedule, appointments, and travel itineraries. Run errands, provide school runs, and support children's routines.
- Property & Estate Management: Conduct regular inspections of all properties, coordinate maintenance, and liaise with property managers for upkeep.
- Household Operations & Inventory: Oversee all household supplies, setting reorder points. Coordinate with other staff for daily tidying, plant care, and organizing pantries and storage areas.
- Guest Services & Event Planning: Provide a warm welcome and anticipate guest needs to ensure a comfortable stay. Plan and execute all events, from vendor coordination to decoration.
- Dining & Table Management: Oversee all aspects of table setting, decoration, and professional food and beverage service for every dining occasion.
- Laundry & Valeting Services: Manage wardrobe organization, provide expert ironing, dry-cleaning, and clothing maintenance, including shoe care and packing/unpacking for travel.
- Culinary Support: Prepare daily meals, including lunch and dinner on specified days, and assist with menu planning as required.
- Protocol & Etiquette: Apply a comprehensive knowledge of social etiquette and protocol to all interactions and events.
Candidate profile:
- Proven experience and knowledge as a butler/house manager.
