Property manager/butler in Miami, Los Angeles & Italy

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced property manager (butler) to be responsible for home and property care. This position reports to the principal and oversees maintaining the day-to-day upkeep of the residential property in Miami, Los Angeles as well as another international property (in Italy) with other duties about high-end/luxury level service and other special projects as assigned.

You will have to interact with family, friends and business relations and manage both the personal and business life of the principal. The ideal candidate will be formally trained, and display longevity and professionalism throughout their career. Accommodation will be provided near the main residence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees management of Miami property including a part-time housekeeper.
• Overall service acumen is equivalent to a luxury hotel butler.
• Stocks the house and maintains inventory of food/drinks and household supplies: i.e.,
  unpacks and stocks supplies when delivered and communicates to Chairman when supplies
  are low and need to be ordered.
• Unpacking and packing of luggage/bags upon Chairman’s arrival and departure from
  residence for business and personal trips.
• Travels, as needed, internationally to prepare a separate residence for visits, stocking
  food, cleaning etc.
• Light cooking as directed: i.e. preparation of coffee, salads, smoothies, light meals,
  cocktails, plant-based food etc.
• Organizes occasional small events and dinner parties, including working with vendors to
  bring in tables/chairs/supplies, as needed.
• Acts as chauffeur/driver for Chairman locally, as needed to restaurants, airports, etc. and
  maintains a car with washes/gas as needed.
• Manages detailed record keeping of day-to-day supply purchases and monthly expense
  
• Manages all vendors- maintains an updated list of all vendors and makes sure contractors
  have current W/C insurance policies.
• Works with Business Manager to keep track of all utility-related bills (internet, power,
  gas, cable, etc.), and ensure on-time payments.
• Daily walk through and property inspection.
• Responsible for pet maintenance and care as needed. The principal has a dog (Black lab and a Golden retriever puppy on the way).
• Maintains all technology on site and ensures all in working order (televisions, audio,
  internet, computers/iPads etc.)
• When the housekeeper isn’t onsite to perform duties, helps maintain a clean household
  including washing dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans; wiping and dusting surfaces in rooms, cleans windows & mirrors; vacuums and cleaning floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes; removing and regularly cleanng linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets; places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds and replaces pillowcases; stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms; picks up and empties trash containers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Head butler for a family in Texas, USA

A well-established and conservative family is looking forward to hiring a formally trained butler with extended experience and knowledge. The family has a large team supporting them to run this household in a very professional (almost military) manner. There is a family assistant, an executive assistant, a chief of staff, housekeeping maids, a laundry maid, and two nannies at all times. As a butler, you will need excellent management skills and the ability to organize. They are also hiring a property manager to manage multiple estates. The family has 7 children, between the ages of 1 and 17 years. Cooking is always being done by the lady of the house or by the nannies. The family prefers a butler with a European background, because of their own Italian (and German) background. Accommodation will be provided. There is a staff apartment available.

You will be responsible for all house management & housekeeping: maintenance of inventories, but also responsible for packing and unpacking suitcases.
