Providing our students with the very best human resources, products, services and logistics is important to us, and of course to the students. One of the many things we have done for our students is providing them with a single room in the castle which is their domain where they can privately practice their skills whenever they want.  This very large room in the castle is completely setup for this purpose.

It is indeed a very large room; 2.000 square feet! In fact! It is the largest room in the castle. Here the students have the opportunity to practice what they learn., privately and away from guests and instructors. This is for instance a wonderful opportunity for students who do not have a hospitality background (most students do not) to practice serving skills. Serving is after all still a big part of a butler's responsibilities, no matter if the actual (desired) butler job has much more to do with managing a household.

Fully equipped room

For practice purposes the fully equipped room contains 2 fully operational bars, irons and ironing boards, clothing and handmade suits (from the exclusive French brand Lanvin), various sizes tables and chairs, all kinds of china, crystal, cutlery, glassware, table linen etc., Obviously the room is large enough so that students can mock up any kind of setting they wish. Students also use this room also for homework (with wireless internet). And yes, we added a table tennis game so students can use the room to relax also.

The Butler Pantry

Another room inside the castle which is the exclusive domain of the students is "The Butler Pantry". Normally speaking a butler pantry inside a private home is there for another purpose but in our case the butler pantry is the location where the students will find for their own use a professional coffee, tea and hot chocolate machine as well as lots of different candies and cookies. In other words, this (rather beautiful) room is for them to relax during breaks.
