Dear Prospective Student,
If you, like me, are looking for the best
butler school so you can work in private service, look no further.
You have now found it!
All the questions that you might have and
the doubts that will arise in your mind are fully
understandable. All butler schools promise so much and
you probably wonder who is telling the truth and who is not.
I can only speak for the International Butler Academy in The
Netherlands. From my personal experience I can tell you they are the
very best.
Like any other prospective student, I
made a profound research before choosing TIBA. It took me a
few years to save enough money to join them but every single
penny was well spent! The eight-week course exceeded my greatest expectations.
The
professional instructors, the field trips, the lectures,
the assignments, the accommodations, the food, and the
camaraderie with the other students, it all made for an
unforgettable and wonderful experience.
It is indeed a tremendous commitment, not
just financially but also professionally. You may ask yourself: "What do I do?
Should I just quit my current job or take eight weeks
leave?" I am afraid to say that only you can answer that
question but personally, I did quit mine! I did it because
it had been my dream for several years to become a
professional butler. There was no going back for me. I knew
it in my bones and in my soul. I wanted to be the very best
butler I could and TIBA provided me with all the right
tools.
It does not matter if you do not have any
previous experience in the private service. You will be taught everything you require
to succeed as a butler, estate manager, and personal
assistant. But, don't get me wrong. Success requires sacrifice,
dedication and above all, the right attitude!
My class was one of the biggest ever at
the academy. We were fourteen students, twelve different
Nationalities, and our backgrounds were so different! It was
at times extremely challenging but our goal was the same and
we all achieved it!
The days were often long at the beautiful
Slot Zeist and when we arrived to our cozy bungalows, we
still had to work on our assignments before going to bed.
The nights became shorter and shorter as weeks went by. We were all
so tired but from my point of view we were dedicated to
something and we fully enjoyed it. With a goal and with
TIBA's help, everything became easy to bear!
My fellow students and I made
friends for life. We were all so proud on graduation day. We
all graduated. Before I joined TIBA I wanted to be a
butler, now I am a professional butler graduated with
distinction and top of my class. I am also an ambassador for
TIBA and let me just say that there is no money that can
bring you this feeling of pride. I know now I am a wiser man, more
knowledgeable in so many different ways and definitely a lot
more confident to face any obstacle that might cross my way.
I have found my true vocation. I hope you will too!
Last
but not least, I would like to say thank you to all the
trainers, to all the guests’
lecturers and to the management team at TIBA and a special
thank you to TIBA's Head Butler. May I just say that I have the most
profound respect for all of them and I will keep fond memories of all of
them also. They have all showed us the path to the true art of
service and they did it with such energy, passion, and
commitment!
