Mr. Robert Wennekes - Chairman of The International Butler Academy

Property Management in China

The rate of consumerism increases in China and so does demand for high-end goods and services. The International Butler Academy is proud to work alongside with various management companies in China to bring the service sector in line with sister sectors in the West.

Oriental Royal - Hangzhou, China (2007)

Mr. Wennekes was invited by Narada Property Management in Hangzhou, China to develop butler services as well as train 60 managers to operate the Butler Departments for over 33 luxury private residence complexes including the exclusive Oriental Royal property in Hangzhou. The Oriental Royal is probably the most luxurious apartment complex in China. (Please click the thumbnails to see a larger photo).

Noble Garden - Shenzhen, China (2003)

This is an another example of a luxury apartment complex for which Mr. Wennekes took over the property management responsibility.  Two Academy instructors flew to Shenzhen to train five butlers.  These five butlers are now responsible for one of the finest properties in China.  This assignment also included many promotional activities, speeches and seminars.

Chateau Regency - Beijing, China (2000)

On July 26, 2000 Mr. Wennekes was officially appointed Chief Consultant for the prestigious Chateau Regency complex in Beijing, China.  In his capacity of Chief Consultant, Mr. Wennekes became responsible for the overall (butler) service and property management at The Chateau Regency.

This assignment included the eight-week training in The Netherlands of 6 Chinese butlers who are responsible for some 120 staff members.  The overall assignment also included many promotional activities, speeches and seminars.

Added value

The added value of working with our Academy is that the media is always highly interested in our involvement with a client. In the past we have attended press conferences with up to 150 reporters, including national television.  Mr. Wennekes has also given many speeches and seminars in China which were not only for service staff but also for managers of 5 star Hotels, resorts and many other businesses who wish to improve the overall quality of service at their place of business.
