Melchior van der Meulen - Director - Senior Butling Instructor - The International Butler Academy

Guest speakers are much appreciated lecturers of The International Butler Academy. These dedicated men and women are all working butlers. Guest speakers provide our students with vital, to the point and accurate information of the life "above" and "below stairs". Note that none of the guests speakers will reveal the names of their employers, or in fact will give out any kind of personal information on the families they work for.

Giovanni Mautone from Italy - Graduate of The International Butler Academy

Depending on their and our schedule, these guest speakers come to the Academy whenever this is possible, for instance in the evening after dinner, or when we have an afternoon tea. This is done in order to use your time with us as effectively as possible.

Guest Speakers include, but are not limited to;

	Miranda de Jong Miranda de Jong is a graduate of The International Butler Academy. Before entering the private service profession, she worked as an attorney. The switch to private service came very natural for her. She was placed in a superb job by our recruitment division. Miranda shares her professional experiences with our students and the love she has for the butling profession.
	Thomas van Gaal Thomas van Gaal is a graduate of The International Butler Academy. Thomas is head butler of one of the larger foreign embassies in The Hague in The Netherlands. He shares with our students his working methods as well as his staff dealings for which he is responsible. Thomas pragmatic approach is a real eye-opener for our students and they certainly enjoy the presentation.
	Roderick Laheij Roderick Laheij is a graduate of The International Butler Academy. TIBA placed Roderick with a fine family and he works in one of the largest and top-luxury homes in The Netherlands. Roderick and his wife work together for this employer. Roderick visits TIBA to give students first-hand information about private service and to share his professional experiences and give advice where he can.
	Cornelis Greveling Cornelis Greveling is a graduate of The International Butler Academy and was placed by us with one of our corporate clients. However, in his previous career Cornelis was a true artist with flower arranging and although no longer in this trade professionally, Cornelis finds it a great pleasure to teach our students about flowers and flower arranging. Students truly enjoy the time spent with Cornelis.
