Stein Wine is a unique and internationally renowned wine producer and merchant located high-up in the Mosel valley in Germany. The family and forefathers have a history in the wine trade for hundreds of years. The company is lead by the two sons; Peter and Ulrich Stein.

The International Butler Academy & Stein Wine If there is an advocate, an ambassador of the forgotten sites of the Mosel it has to be the singular Ulli Stein. You will not  meet another winemaker in the Mosel with his knowledge, passion, boundless energy and devotion to the region's forgotten vineyards.

We'll spend some lovely time with the Stein winemakers at their beautiful location in Germany (St. Aldegund). Ulrich Stein is the person who will teach our students about wine and his passion for wine is astounding. Students stay overnight at the estate and of course a wine tasting is on the menu. Their wine storage facilities will astound you but most importantly you will learn about wines in general and Stein and Mosel wines in particular.

The steeply terraced and visually stunning vineyards of the Lower Mosel don't offer an easy life to those who tend them. They are laborious and costly to work and their obscurity means the grapes they produce often fetch a low price. More work, less pay.
