Arguably the finest restaurant in The Netherlands is the Librije. It has three  Michelin stars and is run by the famous Chef Jonnie Boer. The restaurant is listed in the "50 best restaurants in the world". The kitchen has a philosophy of simple purity and is known for using regional ingredients. There is also a five star hotel, formally used as a prison. Expect impeccable hospitality.

The International Butler Academy & The Librije Restaurant Our students spend a full day at The Librije. There is of course the obvious tour of the first class facilities but much more importantly are the cooking lessons provided by the top chefs. Needless to say that our students rate the day at The Librije at the top as one of the most appreciated field trips.

The Librije Restaurant is located in the historic center of the old Hanseatic town of Zwolle, in a 15th century monastery library with high ceilings in a charming setting.
